I have a confession- I made ONE resolution last year-ONE.
I did not even do for one day-nope…nada…zip.
BUT, this morning I hope I found the solution to my beginning yoga. I found a podcast with a great morning stretch-a little 20 minute stretch.
I have renewed hope in myself!
So intrigued by FROZEN, I downloaded the fairy tales by Han Christian Andersen. I read THE SNOW QUEEN and was mesmerized by the story. The Danish fairy tale writer lived from 1805-1875. I remember reading THE SILVER SKATES by Mary Mapes Dodge as a youngster. It must be the time period language used that attracts me, the history and culture during that time. So, adding to my bucket list now is reading ALL of the fairy tales by Andersen…next, Grimm’s Fairy Tales.❄️
I loved building snowmen as a kid in Nebraska. As an only child, I wish mine would have come alive like Olaf in FROZEN. I know well the feeling of wanting a playmate. But, this is my path: being independent, creative, approachable, friendly, courageous, comfortable in my own skin.
Stays in the mountains!
🎲 I LOVED being the winner when we played FARKLE!
💰 I LOVED spending money on the family!
🍥 I ate way TOO MUCH candy!
🎉 The bubbly I was chilling EXPLODED in the freezer! Oops!
As we tiptoed around the kitchen level this morning so as to let the baby
rest, we suddenly heard this excamation, “Yay, yay, yay!” from the loft. We burst into giggles…how did she know Santa had arrived and left her stocking full of toys?
Surrounded by thick, silver fog, we are determined to see the gingerbread houses in Asheville. It’s a two hour journey, but there is a festive feeling. ( makes me thinking of Kramer and his holiday named “Festivus for the Rest of Us”!). Baby loves singing the “Happy Elf” song by Harry Connick, Jr. We sang it three times so far!
